Privacy notice

Your details. Looked after.

When you fill in one of our forms or message us, you're trusting us with your details. Here's exactly what we do with them.

Who we are

A Load of Crap - Dog Waste Services in Southport & West Lancashire is run by Scott Anderson, trading as A Load of Crap. Email: info@aloadofcrap.co.uk.

What we collect

From the quote form: your name, mobile, email if you give it, postcode, how many dogs, what you're after, when the garden was last cleared, where you'd like the waste to go, anything you tell us about your garden and dogs, and how you heard about us. If you came to the form from one of our ads or links, it also notes which one, so we know what works. From the waitlist: your name, email and postcode. If you message us on WhatsApp, we see your number and what you send. If you fill in one of our Facebook forms, Meta passes us what you put in it.

Why we use it

To reply to you, give you a price and arrange a visit. Waitlist details are used for one thing: telling you when we reach your postcode. We use your details because you've asked us to get in touch, and, if you become a customer, to run the service you've signed up for.

Where it's kept

Website form messages land in our Netlify account and our email inbox. Facebook form replies land in our Meta Business Suite. WhatsApp messages stay in WhatsApp. If you become a customer, we also keep your address, gate access details, dog details and payment records so we can do the job.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Waitlist details are kept until we reach your postcode or you ask us to remove you. Customer records are kept while you're a customer and then for as long as the law needs them for our accounts.

Who sees it

We never sell your details. We only share them with the services that run our forms, email and payments, and only so we can do the job.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email info@aloadofcrap.co.uk. If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The site only uses Meta's pixel if you say yes. The details are on our cookies page. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when a page loads. It doesn't set cookies.
